Description

Low Sodium Beef Jerky

Original is the best place to start!

Low sodium Old Fashioned beef jerky is where it all began with an original blend of spices in a unique marinade that has been refined to perfection over more than three decades. The result is a savory old fashioned  beef jerky classic with a well-balanced natural beef flavor; soft and tender decadence in every bite. Compare the ingredient lists on any of our jerky flavors and you will find a long list of premium quality ingredients such as balsamic vinegar, chili pepper and more.  The most primary, prevalent ingredient for most commercial jerky is soy sauce which is high in sodium.  We recognized early on that Soy Sauce is an important flavor enhancer but by combining it with many other quality ingredients we can actually reduce the sodium content while enhancing the flavor even more.  You will taste the difference.

Most of our flavors of beef jerky are lower in sodium than most commercial jerky in the marketplace.

All of our beef jerky is made with a fine premium cut of American beef. We believe that high quality jerky should have the texture of a fine steak when you take your first bite. Anyone can over-process a tough piece of meat and soften it, but only the finest cuts of beef retain the true texture of a steak when you properly marinate and slow-cook it.  You will taste the difference in quality and you will love the old fashioned beef jerky original flavor.
